South West Peninsula AHSN prospectus


The South West Peninsula NewsletterFollowing the publication of 'Innovation Health and Wealth‘, Academic Health Science Networks (AHSNs) will be established to transform health outcomes and the delivery of healthcare in England by bringing together the local NHS, higher education institutions and industry to focus on improving the identification, adoption and spread of innovative health care across each specific AHSN.


The South West Peninsula AHSN is made up of a range of NHS, academic, other public sector and industry organisations in Cornwall, Devon and Somerset.


The work of AHSNs will be supported by a five-year licence and funding agreement for delivery of a range of defined functions. Click here for the newsletter providing an update on the progress the SW Peninsula AHSN is making towards its accreditation.
