Children at Bramble School enjoy Healthy Eating


Bramble school at the Royal Devon and Exeter Hospital has celebrated a week of healthy eating.


The children spent the week enjoying various healthy activities including learning how to cook simple healthy dishes and designing their own posters. Each child at the school, which has also been awarded a Health Schools Award, was given a gift of a healthy to encourage them to carry on cooking and eating well at home.

Denise Benson, head teacher at Bramble school, said: “The children really enjoyed the healthy eating week activities, especially the opportunity it gave them to work with their hands and do something practical, whilst learning some really important messages. The school is very proud of it’s achievements in this area.”
