Mental Health

Having good mental health helps us relax more, achieve more and enjoy our lives more. There are simple things we can all do to look after our mental health and wellbeing. See below for a variety of resources available from the NHS and leading UK mental health organisations.

In Devon, Mental Health services are provided by the Devon Partnership NHS Trust (DPT). The RD&E does not provide mental health services.

If you are worried about your mental health, or concerned about someone close to you, it’s important to get help and support as soon as possible. The first step is to contact your GP, who can help with diagnosis, prescribe medication if suitable and/or refer you to the right local mental health service. If you are experiencing a mental health crisis, please visit DPT's 'I need help now' web pages.
