General description of what the service does

Diagnose and treat patients with lung cancer and mesothelioma. Caring for both patients and their familites. Discussing all patients within the multidisciplinary team meeting. Plan and deliver expert care and treatment.

The patient is referred to the suspected Lung Cancer clinic (called 'Fast Track') and the Doctor there may request:

Opening times


Monday (pm) - Fast Track Lung Cancer clinic

Monday (pm), Wednesday (am), Thursday (pm), Friday (am) - Oncology clinics

Tuesday (pm) - Nurse led follow up

Daily - General respiratory clinic

Daily - Chemotherapy advice line: Cherrybrook Unit

Daily - Advice/ symptom management / support line manned by specialist nurses

Out of hours - Chemotherapy advice line :Yeo Ward
