You can change or cancel your appointment by calling the number in your hospital letter.
We kindly ask that you make every effort to attend your appointment. If you really can't make it then please let us know as soon as possible. This means we can re-allocate the slot to someone else who needs it and arrange a new time for you. That way, you get the treatment you need as soon as possible and help us to provide a more efficient service for others.
Alternatively, please contact our main hospital switchboard on 01392 411611 (available 24 hours a day) and ask for the department / clinical service you are scheduled to attend.

Missed appointments waste precious clinical time, add to waiting times and cost the NHS millions of pounds each year.
If we need to change your appointment
We are a busy hospital and see over 50,000 emergency patients each year, on top of our planned work. On rare occasions the demand for emergency care may require us to rearrange your appointment for another time. We work extremely hard to ensure this only happens in exceptional circumstances. If we have to cancel your admission date please accept our sincerest apologies. We will rearrange your new date as soon as possible.
