The centre treats minor illnesses and injuries which do not require an ambulance or a visit to the Emergency Department. Examples include sprains, fractures, cuts, grazes, minor infections.
You do not need an appointment to attend and there is no need to ring before coming.
Day Case Unit
Our surgical day case unit has an operating theatre and endoscopy suite.
Maternity services
We have a midwife led maternity ward.
Other services
These include an X-ray department and two mental health units.
Senior doctors and other clinical staff from the RD&E run clinics and sessions in our Outpatient Department.
Other healthcare providers also run clinics here.
There is a pharmacy and a League of Friends shop in the hospital.
The hospital is fully wheelchair accessible.
