RD&E and NDHT staff meet royals
20 Jul 2021
Yesterday, a group of staff from the RD&E and NDHT met HRH the Prince of Wales and HRH the Duchess of Cornwall at Exeter Cathedral.
Everyone in the group had the opportunity to speak to the royals, who both shared their thanks and appreciation to all NHS staff for their hard work throughout the pandemic.
After speaking to Camilla, Tuesday Masding, HCA, NDHT, said: "We were just discussing the relaxation of rules and how she hasn't quite got around to shaking hands with people, and I said that's probably an appropriate reaction."
Suzanne Tracey, RD&E/NDHT CEO and James Brent, RD&E/NDHT Chairman, were joined by staff from both the RD&E and NDHT: Chelsea Cooper, Therapy Assistant at Nightingale Exeter; Mel Burden, RD&E Consultant Nurse and Joint Director of Infection Prevention and Control; Lisa Bradner, RD&E Clinical Nurse Manager, Torridge Ward; Dr Ray Sheridan, RD&E Consultant Physician and Director of Medical Education; Juliet Parkin, NDHT Interim Clinical Matron, ICU and Tuesday Masding, NDHT HCA.
