Baby Loss Awareness Week 2021

4 Oct 2021

Baby Loss Awareness Week, which is held annually from 9 to 15 October, brings together anyone touched by pregnancy and baby loss. It’s a special opportunity to mark the lives of babies lost in pregnancy or soon after birth.

Due to COVID-19 restrictions again this year, we are sorry to share that we are unable to invite families to gather at the RD&E. However, marking this symbolic week is really important, and so to remember all the babies no longer with us, staff representatives will tie ribbons to the tree in our bereavement garden on Friday 8 October. We will share the pictures with you afterwards.

We encourage all those who’d like to join us in spirit to tie a ribbon on a tree of your choice.

Take care of yourselves and please remember that you are not alone.
