Council of Governors
The Council of Governors meet formally on a quarterly basis, every February, June, August and November.
At each meeting they receive an update from the Chief Executive, a report on the Trust's performance over the previous quarter and conduct their routine business.
The agendas and minutes of meetings can be found below. Please note that minutes are not published until they have been approved.

The Council of Governors meetings are open to the public and all members of the Trust are welcome to attend.

Our Board has 10 meetings in a calendar year (although it can also meet in August and December if required), with each meeting having a public and confidential session.
Annual Members' Meeting
The Annual Members' Meeting (AMM) is an opportunity for the Trust and our members to come together to talk about the latest developments in care and share thoughts and ideas about the future. It is an exclusive members' event, but interested public are welcome to join as a member of the Trust when booking.
The 2020 meeting will be held on Wednesday 30 September, 5pm-7pm. Due to the COVID-19 social distancing restrictions the event will be hosted online this year.

For more information on how to submit a formal Motion to the Annual Members Meeting, or an amendment to the Rules of Procedure, please see the Members Meetings Rules of Procedure. Motions and any amendments to the Rules of Procedure must be received by the Trust Secretary by 1600 on 9 September 2020 at Room E221a, Royal Devon & Exeter NHS Foundation Trust, Barrack Road, Exeter EX2 5DW.
All members, whether planning to attend the meeting or otherwise, are encouraged to submit their questions prior to the AMM. This will enable the smooth running of the meeting and ensure as many questions as possible can be answered at the meeting. If we run out of time at the meeting, we will ensure questions are answered and published on the website.
The deadline for submitting your question(s) is 5pm on Tuesday 22 September 2020. Please submit your question(s) to the Corporate Affairs Team, address details below. If you are unable to attend the AMM, we will reply to you with the response to your question following the meeting.
