Information and advice for people waiting for treatment
It’s normal to feel anxious about a hospital procedure. Your appointment may have been delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and this may be causing additional worry for you and your loved ones.
Healthcare providers across Devon are working together to update MyHealth and add more useful information to support and help you whilst you wait.
MY CARE: Your Patient Portal
MY CARE allows you to access your medical record via a website or mobile phone app.
The patient portal will give you greater control over your healthcare by providing you with online access to particular aspects of your health record.
RD&E and NDHT integration
We are proposing to join together with Northern Devon Healthcare Trust (NDHT) to build on existing strengths and make a real difference to our communities and staff across Exeter, Eastern, Mid and Northern Devon.
RD&E Charity - Starfish Appeal
The RD&E Charity aims to raise £450,000 for the Starfish Appeal, to create a warm, bright and engaging space for children, young people and their families at our main acute hospital. The new interactive and multi sensory area will help children to alleviate anxieties, relieve boredom and benefit recovery, recuperation and rehabilitation. With your help we can make a real difference to the thousands of children who visit the RD&E Hospital every year.
Help yourself and the NHS in Devon with self-care
22 Nov 2021
As winter approaches, doctors in Devon are reminding people that by practising self-care, they can help themselves and reduce the need to use busy NHS services.
Self-care involves helping people to better understand how to look after minor illnesses or long-term conditions, and how to prevent ill health by choosing healthy options for good physical and mental wellbeing.
