Elections to the RD&E Council of Governors 2011

 

Voting in this year's elections closed at 5pm on 28 June. The election results are as follows:

 

East Devon, Dorset & Somerset
Jill Gladstone re-elected for a term of three years, Vivian Dibling elected for a term of three years.  The turnout was 44.2%.
Exeter & South Devon
Keith Broderick re-elected for a term of three years, Rachel Jackson elected for a term of three years and Terry Roberts elected for a term of two years.  The turnout was 39%.

We declared the following candidates duly elected (uncontested) on 25 May:

 

Mid, North West Devon & Cornwall: Cynthia Thornton and Andrew Green.

Cynthia has been re-elected for a further three year term, whilst Andrew is elected for the first time for a term of one year. The term of office in this constituency was decided by the drawing of lots.

Staff -Allied Health Professionals: Tony Cox

Tony is re-elected for a further three year term.

Staff - Nurses & Midwives: Alison Wootton

Alison is elected to her first, three year term.

Thank you to all our Members who stood in this year's elections and to all our Members who voted. The elections are an important process for the Foundation Trust as the Council of Governors is accountable to its local community and Trust Members and this is an opportunity for Members to have their say.
