Checking up on ourselves
We are constantly looking at how well we are doing in promoting equality and diversity. This is so we can continuously improve what we do.
Every year, we examine data on equality and diversity among both staff and patients. This includes the data we are legally required to gather, but we go beyond the basic requirements.
In previous years, we have included this data work in our Diversity Board Report. This year the Diversity Board Report summarised what we think the data is telling us and what we intend doing about it.
Involving you
From now on, we are publishing the data separately, to make it easier for you to see it, what it is telling us and how we are responding.
