Samples for cytogenetic analysis require a blood sample in Lithium Heparin and are forwarded by the Exeter laboratory to the Bristol Genetics Laboratory. Samples should arrive in the Exeter Laboratory no later than 3pm to ensure that they can be posted that day. Samples should not arrive in the laboratory after 3pm on Fridays or they cannot be posted until Monday. If collection of a sample after 3pm on a Friday is unavoidable please contact the
