Explanation / description: |
Out patients is the first port of call for the majority of our patients. We are open from 8:30am until 17.30 Mon – Fri. We also run an evening clinic to reduce the waiting lists for appointments with spinal consultants. We see patients of all 18 Consultants. We undertake initial pre-operative assessments, carry out dressing clinics, joint injections, intramuscular steroid injections, and much, much more. We work with a multidisciplinary team of Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists and Podiatrists. We also have access to an x-ray suite, which works from 9am to 5pm. We have a Matron and a Staff Nurse running the unit with two Healthcare Assistants and a team of Auxiliary Nurses, and WRVS volunteers who will ensure you get to the correct clinic. We have a small café were you can have a snack or a hot drink |
