Children's Ward Philosophy.

  1. Your child will be treated as an individual
  2. Care of your child will be centred around their needs and the needs of your family
  3. Appropriately trained and experienced Nurses, Medical and Ancillary staff are available to meet these needs in a safe, child orientated environment
  4. The importance of each child's family in the care process will be recognised and parents will be assisted to become confident and competent partners in participating in nursing care.

On admission, your child will be allocated with a named nurse who will be responsible for your child's care from admission through to discharge.
