Both Wonford and Heavitree Hospitals have facilities to benefit you and your visitors.

- A cashpoint machine.
- Courtyard gardens.

Wonford Hospital Main entrance has the following:
- The United News Shop (photo right) which stocks most things you or your visitor will need during your stay, i.e. gifts, flowers, magazines, sweets, toiletries and stamps etc.
- The Hospital Book Shop that stocks a wide range of books including bargain books, note papers and cards.
- Fine Fillings where they will make sandwiches/rolls to your requirements. You can also get tea/coffee to take away or drink in and other snacks/cakes.

- Health Information Centre
In the conservatory adjacent to the Concourse / Medical Outpatients there is the ELF charity shop.
Along the corridor on the ground floor there is access to some of the courtyard gardens where you can sit and enjoy some quiet time.
There are also other areas where you can get drinks and snacks around the hospital.
Post
There is a post box in the main entrance to the hospital and post is collected at 5.30pm.
Patientline
Each Wonford hospital bed has its own personal telephone, TV and radio service. A company called Patientline provides this and to use the service you buy a card from a vending machine located on your ward or in the main entrance to the hospital next to the shop. Please ask a member of the ward team for help.
You can use Patientline to phone outside the hospital and the costs are similar to BT. You can receive incoming calls through Patientline though this is charged as a premium rate service. Please call 0800 959 3100 for details of the cost of using Patientline. Alternatively visit www.patientline.co.uk.
Hospital Radio
You can listen to our hospital radio, Isca Radio, free of charge.
Heavitree Hospital
- The Air Ambulance shop is in the main entrance, selling gifts, sweets and books.
- There are attractive gardens with seating that you may want to use.
- There are payphones on the wards and again in the main entrance.
- The Fine Fillings Sandwich Bar at Heavitree is open Monday to Friday 8am-4pm, and this is situated in the main entrance of the hospital.
