Welcome to Radiology

The Radiology Department (also known as X-ray, Diagnostic/Medical Imaging)
is staffed by Consultant Radiologists, each withtheir own speciality.  Radiology also consists of Specialist Radiology Registrars, Radiographers, Ultrasonographers, Student Radiographers, Medical Secretaries, Receptionists, Appointment Clerks, Radiology Assistants and Porters.

We see patients from GP Surgeries, Hospital Clinics, Inpatient Wards, the Emergency Department and from hospitals across the UK.  In any one 24 hour period (weekdays) approximately 500 patients receive diagnostic examinations or treatment in the department.
