Counselling for patients, relatives and carers whose lives are affected by any form of haematological cancer, e.g. leukaemia, lymphoma or myeloma

The Counselling Service is provided by Exeter Leukaemia Fund who also fund a full time Haematology Nurse Specialist, and an aromatherapist and a Physio-technician who work part time.
Details of patient user / support groups:
There is a new Haematology Support Group which takes place monthly on the first Thursday of every month from 4.30pm-6.00pm. Anyone with blood and bone marrow conditions is welcome as well as carers. This is facilitated by Rachel Stewart, the support specialist and Clare Fox or Ruth O’Malley, the clinical nurse specialists. We will be discussing various topics each month and be visited by other relevant professsionals such as the physio and complementary therapist. We look forward to welcoming you.
