What is Neuropathy?
Diabetic neuropathy is a clinical state of nerve damage in which a patient complains of symptoms (pain, paraesthesia) or is shown to have a neurological deficit (anaesthetic foot) likely to lead to problems (foot ulcer).
Diabetic neuropathy is found in 10-50% of all diabetics, increasing with age and duration of disease.

The diagnosis is made on the basis of:
Symptoms
