Getting in touch to cancel/change your outpatient appointment

A DNA is someone who Did Not Attend for their appointment and did not tell us before hand. Each year we have thousands of patients who fail to attend their appointments. If we don’t know you are unable to keep or need your appointment, we are unable to offer an appointment to someone else who needs it.

We want to reduce the number of missed outpatient appointments which will allow us to treat more patients and reduce the time that people have to wait. Please help us by telling us as soon as possible if you cannot make your appointment by calling the number on the letter.

The Appointment Offices are open from 8.30am - 5pm Monday – Friday, when you will be able to speak to an Appointment Clerk regarding your outpatient appointment.

The phone lines can be very busy so there is an option to leave a message to cancel your appointment if you do not wish to book another appointment. These messages are actioned throughout the day.
