Do You Care?

At the RD&E we recognise the importance of a carers’ role. So much so that in 2007 we set up a dedicated consultation working group consisting of users representatives, external carer organisations and RD&E staff to focus on raising awareness throughout the hospital, amongst staff, patients and visitors. One of the results of this group has been to acquire this dedicated space on the hospitals external website which we hope you will find useful to source carers information.

One of the advantages of establishing a carers’ consultation group has been working in partnership with other carer organisations. Below we have listed other websites that you may find useful:

Devon Carers Link provides information, support and involvement for carers who either live in the Devon County Council area or are looking after someone living in the Devon County Council area. It is free to join.
