Complaints

Health Information Centre (HIC)
In a friendly, relaxed and informal atmosphere our nursing and health promotion team can offer you up-to-date advice and information.
Learning Disability
The RD&E has a Learning Disability Liaison Nurse for advice or support
Access Support Card
Any patient or carer with a communication difficulty or disability can have the new Access Support Card. They will be able to show the bright yellow card to hospital reception staff on arrival for an appointment at the RD&E to indicate they will need extra support or assistance.
Patient Advice and Liaison Services (PALS)
As a patient, relative or carer you might want to be able to turn to someone here at the RD&E for help, advice or support. This is where our patient advice and liaison service – PALS for short – comes in.
Patient Affairs
We provide sympathetic support and assistance to bereaved relatives and carers to help them through the procedures following the death of a patient at the hospital.
